Painting Weekend

It was supposed to be a one day paint job... a quick way to earn $200... It ended up being the two-day paint job from hell. Not only did the house owners have nothing else to do but stand around and watch us work, but they'd ask us questions every few minutes: "Do you think it will be done today? When are you going to start rolling? Are you going to go back over this part? Don't you think this needs a second coat?" Then, after spending 8 freaking hours cutting in 25 doors and windows, my boss inspected my work, basically said it sucked, and told me to do it all over again. (As my faithful blog reader makes a mental note to self: "Remember to NEVER ask David to paint for you.") Oh, then I found out I'd have to stay overnight to finish the job. So the clothes I'm wearing in the picture I've worn for 48 hours... and they smell ripe! Now I get to wake up early and go to work tomorrow morning while my whole family gets to sleep in and celebrate Presidents Day. But hey, I made some money, spent time with a good buddy, and had some killer pizza... So in the end it was worthwhile... I think.

Why do I always get lost??

I have this serious problem... and it makes me MAD. I get lost all the time. I get lost going to places I have already been to a couple of times. Like tonight. I started off at Have a Nice Day Cafe and I was supposed to meet up with a buddy a couple of miles away (star on the map). Well, I went the totally opposite direction! When I turned around I finally got to the road my friend's place was on and I passed by it. I got out of the car and walked up and down six blocks of this street, and couldn't find the house. So I went home furious. I mean I've been to this house twice already! Why am I this way?? It's VERY aggravating.
